Installed WIndows 2003 R2 32bit and mounted a drive from each datastore and received these results without any hardware reconfiguration or updates:
Windows 2003 R2 32 write - 170MB/s
Windows 2003 R2 32 write - 315MB/s
Windows 2008 vm has LSI logic SAS scsi controller installed. 6 GB memory, 4 cpu, standard vm creation settings.
Windows 2003 vm has LSI logic Parallel scsi controller installed. 4 gigs member, 4 cpu, standard vm creation settings.
Someone please tell me there is a quick checkbox that just needs to be unchecked/checked... This is really making me mad.
