Win 2012 VM

Is it possible to create a Win 2012 VM in ESXi 5.0 Update 2

I cannot see Win 2012 option in virtual machine creation wizard while selectin Guest Oerating System.

I can see option of Windows Server 08 (64 bit) option.

Please suggest.

Our vCenter is still at 5.0 Build 755629. Can that be the reason ?

Yes, in order to see the newly supported operating systems while connected to vCenter Server, you need to upgrade vCenter Server too. You can however select Windows 2012 while logged connected to an ESXi host directly.
