HI All,
I know am raising these question in wrong forum , but sorry for that I was in hurry and thought these is the correct place for me to get quick response.
I have server with 2 local HDD both Toshiba configured with RAID 1 and if one of the HDD failed and if I replace it with Fujitsu HDD , then will my RAID 1 fails .
placing both the HDD of different vendor (Toshiba and Fujitsu ) will it lead to RAID failure.
Thanks a ton in advance.
Disks from different vendors shouldn't cause issues, as long as they have the same specifications (e.g. capacity, RPM).
However, you have to make sure that the replacement disk has the exact same (or higher capacity) as the existing disk(s).

André is right, but there might be an off-chance that the controller won't like it.
