Why only Real-time performance data?

On my esxi 4.1 U1 host I see only Real-time performance data.  However, on my other esx 4.0 hosts I see Real-time and 1 Week performance data.  Why is that?  And how do I get the 1 Week performance data on my ESXi host?

Turns out ntp time was not configured on the host.  But even after correcting that, I still could not get anything other than Real-time data.  I recycled vCenter and then it seemed to work.  I had cycled vCenter previously so I tend to think it was the combination of setting the correct time and the recycle of vCenter.  Though it probably also would have worked to remove and readd the host.

Are your hosts standalone or are they managed by vCenter?
