Why is Provisioned Size Growing Daily

Every day when I review my storage capacity, utilization, and provisioned space, the provisioned space is growing.  I have not provisioned or expanded any VMDKs.  I do not have any snapshots (although it is my understanding that snapshots would just consume space, not provision additional space).  Any suggestions?

although you mentioned that you don't have snapshots, please don't mind me asking how you checked this? In case you have a image based backup application in place, the Snapshot Manager may not be the most reliable way to do this. I'd suggest you either run RVTools, check the VM's virtual disk file names (whether they end with ...-00000x.vmdk), or check the contents/files in the Datastore Browser.

if you deployed the vm's as thin provisioned, the provisioned space grows as the vm's use more and more space - because its not allocated when deployed, only as needed.
