Why VMware ESX 4 doesn't have DCUI Option whereas ESX 3.5/ESXi 4.1/ESX 5 has the option(F2) to Customize??

ESX (classic) is a different hypervisor from ESXi. The "F2" option in the DCUI exists in ESXi.

but why it's available in ESX 3.5? You mean to say ESX 3.5 and ESX 4.0 are two different hypervisors??
