Where's the Jumbo Frames setting for the VMkernel NIC in the Embedded Host Client?

I decided to give the embedded host client a shot, and was standing up an ESXi host in the lab when I came across an inability to apply a Jumbo Frames setting to the VMkernel NIC!

When I created the switch for iSCSI/vMotion, the Jumbo Frames setting was right there, but when I added the VMkernel NIC (New Port Group implied), there is no way to set the Frame size!

"Where's the Frame Size?"

Let's add to this, where's the ability to set the NIC Teaming and failover order?

As per the VM lab page and bugs reported, it seems there were issues regarding NIC teaming policies visibility which are reported closed now.

It is very much possible that the Jumbo frame (MTU setting) is also missing.

I haven't tried this yet but I will check this in my lab tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply.

Overall, I like the responsiveness of the Embedded Host Client, but if it still requires you to switch to the Windows client for certain operations - then VMware is again moving backwards not forward.

This is resolved by recent ESXi patch. Please see: Re: Jumbo Frames and Failover order appear to be missing for VMkernel NIC's
