Where is the tools.conf file?

After going through so many pains with VDR, I switched over to Symantec Backup Exec. I want to edit the vmware tools config file to disable application level quiescing. The vm is Server 2008, 4.1, latest vmware tools. I can't find this file anywhere. Where is it?

Try  C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Tools\

You may need to enable Hidden Files and Folders

Its missing in the new 4.1 upgraded tools. In the old tools the file can found in that path.
