What is the timeout before path failover?

Hi,

I have one ESXi5.0 host with FC connections.  If one HBA connection lost, what is the timeout before path failover? Where can I check such setting.

The path policy is Round Robin.

If I use Fixed or MRU, are there any different about it?

I know, for different HBA card, it has a default value in driver. Does it control by the HBA driver?

Many thanks.

This KB should help - http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102796...

If I remember correctly, there is an option to change the timeout of the HBA in the HBA BIOS, but this is set according to the manufacturer;s policies, so in most cases there's no need to change that.
