What does mean "Executing touch /etc/ntp.conf" during ESX 4.1 install

I am installing ESX 4.1 in Gigabyte GA-880GM-usb3 with AMD PHENOM II.

This message I get in debug mode

"touch" just creates a blank file, so I assume this debug message is just reflecting that the file /etc/ntp.conf was created.
