What do I need to install to experiment with vMotion?

Sorry to pollute this forum with a (maybe) trivial question, but with all these VMware products and slighly differing product names I got a bit confused.

To gain experience with VMware tools I have set up a test environment with a couple of ESXi v5.x servers. That works nicely and I can access and manage VMs running on each of these ESXi's using the vSphere client.

Maybe I have tomatoes on my eyes but I couldn't find an explicit list or instructions, what product(s) I have to install to be able to manage these servers as a "group" and to experiment with moving VMs (dormant or running) between those ESXi servers? The basic viclient obviously does not offer that feature.

Seems like you havn´t install vCenter Server yet.

This you need to manage all your ESXi servers. You can create virtual datacenters, clusters etc. and also vMotion VMs between this ESXi host inside your vCenter.
