What are different ways to automate (create/delete) snapshots in esxi 5.0 free edition. I am desperately looking for this sollution for many days but did not get any statisfactory answer. Any help is appriciated.

Since the API is restricted in the free edition you may need to run a script on the host itself. You might be able to derive the required steps from http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8760.

Thanks Andre, But that link is more specific to VCB and not Snaphot issue I am looking for.

I am new to this and learning things..Yes you are correct API won't do much as this is the free edition therefore looking for script probably which can be run as batch file and schduled on winodws server so that at specified it can take the snahot.

You can always try vim-cmd vmsvc/snapshot.create on the host and other options like get, remove, revert.
