I'm not an expert on vSphere licensing, but I believe that the vSphere Acceleration Kit includes licenses to run on 6 physical CPU packages, and you can run VMs with up to 8 vCPUs each.  Contrast the page you found with the one for the Enterprise Acceleration Kit, and then match it all up with the comparison chart, and it seems to make sense, although it looks like it could be better worded, IMHO...
