Hi
In my current environment I have vCenter 5.0 server installed on virtual machine.
and all my vShpere 5.0 environment is running through that vCenter but now i want to move my virtual vcenter machine to another ESXi host.
Installed virtual vCenter machine is on standalone ESXi 5.0 host.
Let me know how I can move my current virtual vcenter machine from current ESXi 5.0 to another ESXi 5.0.

Assuming the ESXi hosts don't share the same storage, you can either use VMware Converter or export/import the VM.

Hey Andre thank you for the quick response.
Yes ESXi 5.0 is using just local storage it is not attached to shared storage.
Please can you send me some links or documents which will help me out to understand vmware converter and then I will move my current vCenter 5.0 to from my current ESXi 5.0 to another standalone ESXi 5.0
i have found one solution please let me know this solution will work or not .
solution is
1st download all files of vCenter server virtual machine.
2nd create file into the destination host where you want to move virtual vCenter.
3rd upload all files of the vCenter server virtual machine into that file.
4th now import .vmx file into that host.
will this work out?

What you are trying is to copy the files to anothe server using a USB drive yes its possible.
1) Remove VM from Inventory
2) Download the VM folder to local system and copy to USB
3) Upload the VM folder on target host
4) Add VM backup to Inventory and Power ON
5) When everything is find delete the Vm folder on the 1st host
You can find Vmware Converter gudie here
As an alternative you can export the VM as a OVF template and Import it on the target host
VM Converter converts. Is it the same as moving vCenter 5 virtually?
