WWPN changes on existing ESX..

We have a situation here whereby we are going to move one of the blade server (running ESX 4.0) to another blade chassis. As per hardware vendor this process will involve WWPN (HBA address) changes to that particular host.

Assuming storage vendor will going to represent the existing LUN(datastore) to this host with new WWPN, do I need to perform anything on the ESX level or is it ESX will detect the existing LUN as usual?

Thanks

no... the only thing that that has changed in your eniornment is the WWPN's, since you have new HBA's, the LUNS still have the same UUIDs

you should not have to do anything except rescan your storage adapters.  However, it may require a reboot to see the LUNs

So, there will be no datastore uuid changes?
