Vsphere Plus Acceleration kit(8cpu)

Are there any restrictions on purchasing more than 1 of the Vsphere Enterprise Plus Acceleration kits(8cpu) per a customer? We need to setup 2 sites with 4 Vphere hosts(dual-proc) each and purchasing 2 of the acceleration kits seem to be the best way to go about it.

AFAIK there is no such restriction, so you can purchase two or more Acceleration kits.

AFAIK there IS restriction in buying only ONE AccKit per customer. AccKit is special bundle with price lower than separate products. The aim of AccKit is to make process of adopting VMware solution easier for customers (lower price). But this is possible only once.

Please consult this with your preffered VMware Partner.

VMware's documentation states "One purchase per customer site" for the Acceleration kits. If you have one large central datacenter then you might only be able to get one, but if you're buying the kit to use in a different location then you should be able to get more than one.

Can you link a reference to that documentation and let me know what page it is on. We are planning to deploy to 2 different data centers accross our county.

I can't really link you to a site. I'm looking at a VMware Pricing spreadsheet that is available to partners, and that is where I got that text. If you are a VMware Partner, this document is available on Partner Central.

I would speak with your local VMware partner/reseller and see if you are eligible since you are purchasing this for two different sites.

I did talk to our partner/reseller and they were essential told that it was one acceleration kit per a customer regardless if it was being used on two different sites.
