Vsphere 5 not found newly added Quad Ethernet card

Hi,

We have a Dell R710 with onboard quad card.  Later we added another Broadcom Quad card on into the R710 but cannot see the card after several reboot.  We could see the Card on the BIOS / Broadcom level, but cannot see from the ESXi or from the vCenter.

Any cue on adding new card into ESXi host rather than a fresh install again?

Usually it is because of ESXi don't have to correct drivers.

But the onboard card should be same model. How come the one additional one need extra driver?  The onboard one works fine.

Are you absolutely sure it is the same model number? Sometimes addon cards have small variations versus onboard cards.
Do you see the new card on the console on the ESXi ?

Should be the same but could try to use the driver you sent me before.

No see the card neither from console nor the vcenter.
