Vmware ESX4 - Audit any modification

Hi

I need to make script that give me the following information:

- when new VM is add and where is locate

- what user build the new VM

- what users autenticate in VC ou direct in the host

- if someone change anything in distributed switch

- etc..

Someone can give me any clue how can i start development this script?

go to and check Al's script repository, you can find there at least answers for 3 of your questions, especially vCheck (DailyReport) should give you all what you need
