Vmotion Newbie

Hi, sorry for me being newbie Smiley Happy

I think I've read all the ESXi sysadmin guide, but I cannot find any details on how to actually setup Vmotion on ESXi 4. From what I can gather from here and there, this is the steps, is this correct?

1. Prepare two ESXi hosts and VCenter with necessary license.

2. Activate Vmotion feature in the hosts' network interface

3. Prepare a shared storage, in this case I'm going to use iSCSI

4. Connect both hosts to the same iSCSI LUN

5. Create a VM on one of the hosts

6. Click on the VM and try "Migrate"

Is that correct?

Thank you.

....and ensure you have vmotion compatible CPU's.

Attached is a pretty good how to, with some troubleshooting steps

Thank you very much Troy, I have read the PDF. One last detail:

Is it ok if I activate the Vmotion feature in the VM Switch now? Will it affect the current running VM in whatsoever?
