    Hi All,

If any particulate VLAN not working on any of the VMNIC , i used to get free IP and create VMkernal port then login to esxi ssh and do vmkping -I with vmk number and gatway,

but some times we will not have free IPs where segment is full and it is very difficult to check the VLAN working or not, do we have any other way to check if particular vlan not working and provide evidence to network team so that they can fix.

we are using standalone Dell servers.

    Thank You in advance.

hope your environment is clustered.in this case some your other hosts are properly working with this vlan. you can simple migrate virtual machine(using this vlan) to different host and check the communication.

check ESXi host NIC adapter observed IP address which provides IP address range and VLAN information.

Refer the below for PowerCLi command

from NIC adapter observed IP address we will not have all VLAN visible there.
