Evening,

Here is the process:

1. Shutdown the VM

2. Snapshot the VM

3. Upgrade to Hardware

4. Start up vm

5. Verify functionality of application

6. Delete Snapshot

If you run into issues a rollback to snapshot will change back the version.  I know that 2003 will be fine with this upgrade the others I have not personally done to version 9.   Either way with the process above you should be ok with a little downtime.

Thanks,

J

Sorry I have not used those since hardware version 7 days.   They upgraded to 7 ok... If you snapshot there is no risk in trying.
