Virtual Machine is locked

One Virtual Machine has alarmed a lack of memory and I edit settings without turning off the machine and increased the memory from 11G to 16G. Since that, the machine doesn't let me powered on our powered off or suspend. The message showed is that the task is 97% and there is more than 24 hours without change this message.

How do I fix it?

Which VMware product are you using to host the VM?

(You posted this thread in an unusual area of the forum based on the topic)

Shut down the VM with RDP, Teamviewer, ssh
If you dont have one of the options from above available kill the VM with esxcli/kill
Next remove VM from inventory - fix  vRAM parameter in the vmx-file ad register the VM again.
