Hi all.
I just have a doubt/concern about the virtual machine version upgrade. I have a virtual machine in version 4 (ESX 3.5). If I upgrade it to version 11 (ESXi 6), the networking settings for it disappear and I have to reconfigure those settings under the operating system.
If I do that with the vmware converter and choose the destination to be a virtual machine version 11, the same happens.
Is this the way it works or is there any workaround in order to keep the networking settings?
Many thanks.

Hi Arjun.
I followed the instructions and it works fine.
I assume that it is not possible to avoid this workaround when changing the physical hardware, correct? Or is there another way to migrate the vm version without losing the networking settings?
Many thanks.
