Virtual Machine Floppy drive usage during Snapshot

Hi Team,

I am getting the VSS error 12289 in my Virtual machine infrastructure.

Further investigation, I concluded that disabling the Floppy drive stops those event errors, however I am not sure about the relation of snapshot, volume shadow copy and Floppy drive.

Please advise.

Thanks Rame.

However not sure why we need to ignore the Floppy drive during the snapshot.I am experiencing this issue only in this particular server it is not prevalent.
