  • 1.  Virtual Fibre Channel functionality

    Hi,

    I wonder, does ESXi some option equal to Hyper-V's Virtual Fibre Channel? I want one of my VMs to access tape library ant it seems that there is no way to achieve this not using FC pass thru option. Or am I missing something?

    Please see whether https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.vm_admin.doc/GUID-74DDA7F7-84AC-4251-8749-552A2678A33C.html is what you are looking for. I'm not sure however, if Tape access is officially supported.
