I'm working on a test deployment of View 4 using PCoIP and wanted feedback from anyone that has done this and what they learned and/or had to adapt to make their solution work. Specifically:
NAT translation
VPN usage
Native PCoiP support through firewall
and any show stoppers you uncovered.
Thanks!
Hugh
The only viable solution (that I know of) would be a client VPN to tunnel the traffic.
NAT and native PCoIP will not work, the problem is that PCoIP are using UDP
Cisco WAAS is a nice solution that I am currently evaluating.

Yeah the UDP support is defintely an issue.
On the VPN side do you know if the Microsoft Windows VPN client implementation would work performance-wise, or is a dedicated Cisco/Sonicwall type preferred?
I don't see why it would not work with Microsofts VPN, have not tried it myself though.

Linjo
