Veritas Netbackup on ESXi Standard 7.x VMs

Hi,

We are installing several stand-alone ESXi Standard 7.x hosts.  There will be no vcenter so we will be backing up VM directly from the host.  I know VMs on ESXi Enterprise and Enterprise Plus can be backed up this way but I cannot verify in either VMWare or Veritas documentation if this will work on ESXi 7.0 Standard edition.  Anyone have any info/experience on this? Thank you.

Hi,

with Veeam that works fine (backup stand alone Esx hosts), so I think with Veritas it should work also.
