    On Host:ESXi 8.0 and later (Version 20)

     

    Remediate entity VMware vCenter Server.NEW

     There are errors during the remediation operation. Check the events and log files for details.

    Kindly elaborate on your error message:  There are errors during the remediation operation. Check the events and log files for details.

     

    Am in the VM hardware section of vSphere "Check Status" shows 2 of 51 VMs have an Upgrade Available.   Select checkbox and click "Upgrade to match host" and this error appears.  It is meaningless -- what events?  what log files??
