Vcenter cannot deploy

Hello expert!

I have deployed the VMWare ESXi 5 ( evolution version with keys ) on my server. i am successfully managing through VMClient and created 2 Virtual machine.

i have problem to deploy the VCenter, i have downloaded as OVF and deploying through "deploy OVF template"

This OVF package use features that are not supported when deploying directly to an ESX host

The OVF Package require supports for vApps with multiple VMs.

Please advise how to resolve problem!

Regards

Anwer

Which key are you talking about?

The installation of the eval normally isn´t requiering any key. If you entered the free hypervisor key you will have limited features and this version can´t be used with vCenter anyway.

Dear Mario

Thanks for the replying!

We are in evoluting VMware in our SAP enviornemnt, we are going to migrate the physical hardware to virtual, and we need to evolute the features before golive for SAP.

is there other work around to evoluate the VMware with our enviornemnt, we want to evolut vCenter,vMotion, ESXi and vConvert ?

VMWare should provide the keys for 60 days of our features to evolute.

please advise ?

Like I wrote above normaly you are not needing any keys (not for ESXi and not for vCenter).

Basicly this means: No key = 60 day eval

What he certainly means is evaluation key.

Here is the guide

And also, make sure the time is correct on the esxi host.
