Vcenter cannot access vwmare 5.5 server after system crash when Update manager was installing updates.
I deleted the host and tried to re add with no luck, verified the hosts file, re-installed the updates via cli.
I am not an expert on vmware and any help to solve this issue would be very much appreciated.
Error when trying to add host:
"Cannot contact the specified host (Name.domain.com). The host may not be available on the network,
a net configuration problem may exist, or the management services on this host may not be responding."
Verified the system is accessible via the network.
verified the management services are running, and restarted the services.
