VMware Web Access Missing Affter 4.0 to 5.5 Migration

I just migrated to 5.5 from 4.0. Before the migration i could access the web portal. Afterwards i could no longer access it, i restarted all the services via ssh, and even tried to start the web access service manually, but it states service not found. Any suggestions?

The vSphere Web Access do you mean http://<vcenter_server_ip>/ui ?

vSphere Web Access is available on vSphere 4 but I can't find any documentation that states that vSphere Web Access is still available in vSphere 5.5

You can use vSphere Client or vSphere Web Client to manage your vCenters, hosts, and VMs
