Hi, all

I have ESXi5.0 with vSphere Client 5.0.0.32829 installed. When login into ESXi5.0 with vSphere Client, I always got the attached error messages.

Any ideas?

can you remove the quotes in TRUE from the paramter autohide in preferences.ini file. Reinstall the vsphere client as an alternate option.

I fixed the problem by removing the point before the word of encoding. I am not sure why there is "." before the encoding line.

The original content of preferences.ini file is as follows.

.encoding = "windows-1252"   -> Just remove "." from here.
