VMware Fusion does not support connecting to server ‘nn’ with the current license.

I have got an ESXi 7.0 server with the free license, and VMware Fusion 10.1.6 . When I try to connect to the server I get the message “VMware Fusion does not support connecting to server ‘nn’ with the current license.”. 

Which license is talking about VMware Fusion or ESXi ? or Do Ii need vSphere ?

Please anybody can confirm.

The ESXi license must not be free. It has to be any form of paid license.
