VMware ESXi support for Windows Server 2022

We are introducting Windows Server 2022 in our Virtual Environment. As per the article, ESXi 7.0 U1 is required for Hardware Version 18 that supports Windows 2022. Is this the minimum Hardware Version that is supported for Windows 2022. Please advise.

Thanks

windows server 2022 is supported by 6.7u2
the fact of having HW 18 and therefore the 7.0 U1 is given by the possibility of choosing during the installation of the OS Guest the entry WIndows 2022 ... in this article:

Windows Server 2022 guest operating system option is not available during virtual machine creation (...

it says that if not present to choose
".. In all other cases where Microsoft Windows Server 2022 (64bit) is unavailable, select Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (64bit) or Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later (64bit) as the guest operating system for the virtual machine."
