VMware ESXi 4.0 U1 - "An unexplained error" while connecting to the remote console using vSphere Client 4.0.0

Hello,

I've encountered the following problem. A couple of months ago we've installed a fresh VMware ESXi 4.0 U1. It worked just great until yesterday, when suddenly the remote console stopped to work. We use VMware vSphere Client v4.0.0 to connect to the server. Everything works just fine (all machine operations such as power on/off, charts, properties, snapshots), but the visual console ("monitor" of the VM) does not work, when we try to open it, a standard black window with a VM toolbar appears, but there is no image, only a yellow bar with an error "An unexplained errorr occured". Additionally, a messagebox with the text "Error connecting. An unexplained error occured. Do you want to try again?" appears. Please help to fix this.

Solved it by myself, it turned out that when you want to alter ESXi http splash screen, you should not alter any files in the "/usr/lib/vmware/hostd/docroot" except "index.html". It seems that VMware vSphere client takes some files from there during its operations.
