I often find that a VM that was being used on 1 day (use is typically via VMware Workstation connected to the server) is no longer responsive the next day. I mean that the next day, when opening the machine tab from Workstation, the screen is black and clicking inside and waiting for a long time, I no longer can see where I left off. I end up doing Shut down guest and starting again.
The VMs run Windows 2003 or 2008 server and don't have any setting to go to sleep or hibernate. Is there a setting somewhere else?
