VMotion windows Server 2008 standard with OEM license

i have two dell server with OEM win2008 standard license.

if i install ESX on each physical host, and install one VM on host A with OEM virtual key, can i vmotion the VM to the other ESX?

As mentioned in Re: windows OEM license in virtual environment you may need to check with the EULA. Microsoft offers licensing classes which last several days and have tons of white papers for licensing. I guess not even someone from Microsoft can answer this question for sure.

However, IMO this would most likley violate the EULA.

VMotion depend of type of license VMware, no of Virtual Machine Guest OS. Check EULA microsoft to do it .
