Hi

Has it worked in the past in your environment, or is this a new build?

Have you completed the necessary configuration to allow for vMotion?

Further to that - can you use vmkping to ping the vmotion IPs of your hosts?

Do you see any error in VMkernel log file durind failure..

Check the below 2 KB's and see if this applies

Has any changes been made with the vmkernels?

Physical switch configuration been altered?

Any jumbo frames settings?

Risk of IP duplicates on the network?

Hi,

Its seems its network issue becuase when we enabled the vmotion on the othe nic vmnic1 (mgmt netwoork). The vmotion is working.

Issue might be with vmnic0.

thanks

Today we had done patching for the ESXI server to ESXi,4.1.0,702113.Let me know if anything might cause the issue.

If a vmotion fails at 10% itself, then the primilinary checks have failed. When you say that you have changed the vmnic1 to vmnic0, are the vmnicX of both the servers in the same ip range?
