VMWare not collecting correct serial number on Synergy 480 Gen 10 servers

Anyone else see this issue on Synergy 480 Gen 10 servers where vSphere \ vROPS is reporting a logical serial number for the server instead of the physical Server Serial Number?

If you look at the iLO for the server it shows both "Server Serial Number" and "Serial Number (Logical)"

We are hoping to find a way to correct this as we use the VMWare API to provide asset data to our asset management system. And this issue is causing a conflict.
