I am using VMWare ESXi, 4.0.0, build 171294, with vSphere client. Currently, I have 31 virtual machines powered ON, however, upon turning ON the 32nd VM, an error is displayed on the Events tab indicating "Failed to connect to ethernet0", and "Failed to connect to ethernet1". I'm a new VMWare user and not sure if there's any limit on a number of VMs that can be created or powered ON in one NIC. The vSwitch has been configured to have 56 ports.
