VMWare 6.5 and RDX Drive (internal SATA)

Hello, I try to actually redirect our internal SATA RDX drive to one of our instances.

From a question asked on spiceworks: USB Tandberg RDX drive not being detected in ESX 6.5 - VMware Forum - Spiceworks  it looks like under normal circumstances the RDX Drive should also be viewed by VMWare, however we actually can't see any drive on the VMWare host. The only thing we tried was redirecting the whole SATA Controller, which worked for half a day and then it failed and the drive didn't showed up besides the whole sata controller was redirected.

We also own a USB3 version of the drive, which actually works perfectly when USB Device redirected.

I'm also unsure on how to actually check if the device is correctly detected by vmware. "esxcfg-mpath -l"just returns the local d
