VMWARE guests not booting

Hi

I turned off my fully functional VM box to ship to other location and  since then I can'nt boot the guest OS. Please see the attachment.

The issues I had:

1. VM could not find the datastore.

2. After several rescan it found the datastore but the name change from 'Datastore 1' to 'snap.xxx.x. Datastore 1'

3. Guest Servers name changed to Unknown

What I did:

1. Entered in Maintenance mode to rescan the datastore while it was not visible

2. Once I saw the datastore, renamed it to Datastore 1 (from snap.xxx.xx datastore 1)

3. Deleted the guest OS

4. Browsed the datastore and add the .vmx to the inventory

5. Reboot the guest OS, stopped at 95%

Hi Kazi

The VMs are waiting for a response on a VM Question.

You need to right click the VMs and look for " Answer Question".  I think it is under the guest link.

On the answer options, select "Moved VM" and click ok
