I'm running ESXi 5.1 Build 799733 with viClient 5.1 Build 786111. I have a single Windows 2012 VM that I just finished installing, upon reboot of that VM (eg: post Windows installation) the viClient crapped out. I restarted the viClient and connected and immediately get "VMWare Remote Console / Application failure. hr = 0x80040101: Failed to initialize virtual machine". Click Ok to it, open the console to the Windows 2012 VM and get the "The VMRC console has disconnected... attempting to reconnect" in the yellow bar (I could see the console fine before because I obviously installed Windows 2012 (with GUI) prior). I've shutdown/restarted the ESXi host, logged back in to viClient no difference.
Help?
