I have a guest OS which is Linux, and I have give VMDK and RDM to the guest.
On OS level. How can I identify which /dev/sd* is a VMDK or RDM.????
Hi ~~ anyone has the idea ?
Hi -- If linux OS -- cat /proc/scsi/scsi and observe the difference
VMDK - will be shown as vendor: VMWare
where as the RDM will have Vendor as the Array type like EMC , NetApp, etc.

1. The First Hard Disk Drive connected to Linux Virtual Machine will be addressed as /dev/sda
2. The Second Hard Disk Drive ( can be a vmdk or RDM ) connected to Linux Virtual Machine will be addressed as /dev/sdb
