VMDirect Path / Linux GPU Pass-through issue - Guest VM boots and see's the device

I have a PowerEdge T710 with (2) XFX R5 2XX series GPU's, I have one GPU passed through to a Windows10 Guest, and have no issues, I have another GPU passed through to a Linux Guest (I have tried Fedora, RH, Ubuntu, Gentoo, Arch, and FreeBSD) and always get the same issue. I can get the *nix based OS to see the hardware, I can get Xorg to detect the GPU, but I cannot get Xorg to start as it breaks. It appears it is getting confused with the number of displays detected and errors out. I have xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log's to share. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and resolved it. Or is there a method to completely disable the VMware svga virtual adapter from loading at all with the VM, as I know that svga.present=FALSE doesn't do anything, or doesn't appear to do anything. Any clues or help would be appreciated.
