VMBK on VSphere

Hi guys,

I'm using the free VMBK.pl script on my 3 ESX server since a couple of years with great results and now i would like to migrate to VSphere 4.0 but it just seems like there's no update of VMBK since 2007. Any of you guys know if it is possible to keep using VMBK or if there's any other free solution i could use instead of VCB? thanks

Take a look at: which supports both ESX(i) 3.5 & 4.0

Hi,

Is there a way to skip a vmdk drive on a vm with the GhettoVCB script?

Thanks

No, that is not supported. You're more than welcome to modify the script to add in the proper logic to do so, but only full backups are supported.
