VM win2008 power Off .. 95%

i must power off a virtual machine Windows 2008 server, but from virtual center the task is stop at 95%.

i tried with vmware-cmd

vmware-cmd /vmfs/volumes/4b9f65df-45531f94-17ab-001517cffb85/2008-veeam/2008-veeam.vmx reset hard

but i recivied :

vim.fault.TaskInProgress: Another task is already in progress.

there is another method ?

Restart the vmware hostd service i.e. # service mgmt-vmware restart and this task would be canceled but and I guess the VM would have been powered off.

Stopping VMware ESX Management services:

VMware ESX Host Agent Watchdog

VMware ESX Host Agent

Starting VMware ESX Management services:

VMware ESX Host Agent (background)

Availability report startup (background)

when vcenter reconnet the host ?

The host will reconnect automatically, however if it does not then right click the host and click on connect.

shutdown -r -n now

after 5 minute reconnect host to virtual center ...
