VM vMotion require 1000 Mbs Full Duplex

Hi All.

Have 3 servers with ESXi 4.1 in a cluster enviroment with dvSwitch connectivity.

Each server physicaly connected to Cisco 3560 switch (100 Mbs) with four ethernet links.

How can i combine all 12 adapters to reach 1200 Mbs for properly working server vMotion?

No you need 1 gb at least. Why are you limited to 100mb links?

My Cisco Switches are 100 Mbs. It's temprary but i need vMotion.

Last time (before upgrading RAM on my servers) vMotion work with 1200 Mbs in a combination of 12 pnics.

I have forgotten  how I can made it.

vMotion *does* work over 100MBit, its just REALLY slow.

You would be better off using a cheap consumer gigabit switch for your vmotion than using 36 100mb links. Your cisco can probably only do etherchannel teams up to 8 links.

You can do this way: use ip hashing as load balance policy for vswitch. This way you can make use of bandwidth.
