VM templates in content library have type = unknown

Hi,

i have created a test environment with vsphere 6 and i have created a content library for my VM templates.

That was working good for the last months, but today I logged into the web client and wanted to deploy a new VM from the content library.

First thing I noticed was the after selecting "deploy vm from library" - the library is empty ..

When I look directly into the content library, the templates are still there but the type is unknown and it´s not possible to export the template neither to deploy it..

Any Ideas what I can do ?

I have already restarted the vcenter server ..

I found a work around..

I was able to clone the template with type=unknown, and the clone shows type = vm template, and the guest OS is shown correctly, too..
