VM not able to startup automatically upon exiting maintenance mode

we have a schedule power shutdown on one of the site office.

configured schedule shutdown and startup on the EXSi host. but after powering up the host, and exiting maintenance mode, we discovered that the VM are in suspended state.

need to manually start the VM.

can we configure the VM(windows 2008R2) to start automatically after it exit maintenance mode?

VMware KB: Auto-Start Is Not Run When Manually Restarting a Host in Maintenance Mode

in this KB they are suggesting to execute command: /sbin/vmware-autostart.sh start

what if you find a way to execute this command on 'Exit Maintenance Mode' event of ESXi host. in short this could be achieved by ESXi host - Event based alarm action. I haven't tested it but will try to do so when I get a chance. If you test it, post your reply here.

Dear yeowkm2809

Kindly check whether the VMs have their times synced with ESXi
